Our Story
The seeds for Heao® were first planted in 2015 when our founder, Alice Chen, became a first-time mom. Like any new parent, Alice was overwhelmed by the amount of baby gear needed – from strollers to baby monitors to the dreaded highchair. As an industrial designer by trade, Alice was dismayed by the lack of smart, elegant design in most baby products. They were either too clunky, garishly colored pieces of plastic or costly luxury items way out of the typical family’s budget.
As Alice struggled to find a highchair that was safe, functional AND fit her home’s aesthetic, the idea for Heao® High Chair was born. Alice dreamt of designing a highchair that seamlessly blended into a modern home’s decor throughout the different stages of childhood. A highchair that would grow with the child from infant to toddler to big kid.
After months of iterations, the Heao® High Chair launched in 2018 to rave reviews from parents seeking a stylish, convertible highchair without the outrageous price tag. The success of the highchair gave Alice the confidence to expand the Heao® product line beyond nursery items. She assembled a small but mighty product team, and together they would create innovative products to meet needs across all life stages.

Heao® High Chair
Our award-winning highchair remains a parent favorite. The sleek, minimalist design in matte finishes fits seamlessly into any dining space. It features a 5-point harness, adjustable seat depth, footrest, and 7 height positions to accommodate children from 4 months to 50 lbs. Heao® Walker
For the millions of adults worldwide who need a little mobility help, the Heao® Walker makes getting around safe and comfortable. Available in bold colors like Cherry Red and Midnight Blue, the lightweight aluminum frame provides the durability of a medical walker but with a trendy, modern look. The rollator walker features ergonomic handgrips, a padded seat with backrest, under seat storage, and loop locks for safety when resting. The easy-fold design folds to a compact size for storing or transporting. Adjustable handlebars and backrest suit users from 4’11 to 6’5.
Heao Care
The Heao Care line helps with daily activities that become challenging with age or mobility impairment. Our shower chairs feature a comfortable contoured seat, sturdy aluminum frame, anti-slip rubber feet, and adjustable legs to fit most bath/shower combinations. For the bathroom, we offer raised toilet seats, safety frames, toilet supports, and bedside commodes. The three-in-one commode functions as a raised toilet seat, safety frame, or portable commode. Heao Care products provide the freedom to shower or use the bathroom independently while preventing falls and accidents.
Heao® Fireplace
Cozy meets technology with the Heao® Fireplace. Our electric fireplace inserts and wall-mounted units deliver the ambiance and warmth of a real wood fire, but without the mess and hazards. Simply plug them into any standard wall outlet and enjoy realistic flame effects set to 5 brightness levels. Adjustable temperature settings go up to 75° F to heat rooms up to 400 square feet. Built-in timers let the “fire” gradually dim and go out like burning wood embers. Heao® Fireplaces come in various stone veneer finishes to match any decor.
